The iphone

Oh iphone! How do I love thee...
So I got a new iphone since my cellphone was slowly dying on me. I have to say...i love my iphone.
Pros
-very adult looking phone. so when im in a meeting, you cant really tell im playing solitare. It just looks like im busy taking notes on it.
-I have internet on it!! Yay!
-It has a cool touch screen.
-Everyone who sees my new phone goes...oooohhhh....aaaahhhhh
-Bigger screen than my old phone.
Cons
-i cant text when I drive. I know youre not supposed to but, man...all that wasted time just driving!
-Volume is a bit low..but not so bad
-When i put the phone next to my cheek it sometimes accidentally hangs up. This is because my face is fat.
Overall: I LOVE THIS PHONE!

Our 2 year anniversary
WARNING: This blog may contain mushy phrases and gushyness that might cause nausea, headaches, and pure disgust. Please consult your medical professional before you read this blog to see if you are healthy enough to take all these professions of love for the Poopsy.
Ya, I know! Can you believe it? Two years with the same man. And how can i not, when I know I have met my "the one". I know, I know...our relationship is not perfect, but it is to me. We argue and fight but we talk and love each other very much.
Anyways, back to the weekend trip.
Friday
Tommy and I drove up to Santa Monica to the Loews hotel. It is such a beautiful hotel right by the beach. The lobby was amazing. Very chic. (go check it out http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?qscr=dspv&flag=l&itid=&itdx=&itty=&from=f&foop=0&hwrq=&htid=12954&spsh=&spsi=&crti=4&nfla=1&mdpcid=21187-1.ExpediaHotelImagesUS|+Hotel_Review|+freesearch|+US) The rooms were beautiful especially that when we got there Tommy made arrangements to have chanpagne and chocolate covered strawberries brought up to our room. Then he popped in a video he made for me to celebrate our 2 years of being together. Yes people....I cried. He actually had been talking to my mom to get baby pictures of me. Pictures that I have never seen of me and my family. I loved it!

After that we had dinner on the pier (Bubba gumps! Yummy crab stuffed shrimp) then went to the third street promenade. I got a very sexy dress and an awesome top while Tommy sat exhausted and dehydrated. Then we went a store called Lush where they sell bath bombs. Tommy and I decided to get one since we had a nice bathtub back at the hotel. We picked a pink small bathbomb to test out. ($5- sex bomb) We did not pick it because of the name...shame on you. It really smelled nice. Jasmine-y...sweet...relaxing. So we were talking to the manager since we have never used a bathbomb, she gave it to us as a gift and not let us pay!!!!
Back at the hotel, took a nap, took a bath...then i took out little cupcakes, put candles on them so that Tommy and I can celebrate his birthday. Happy Birthday Poopsy Bear!

Saturday
The next part of Tommy's surprise was getting us another hotel in downtown. I told him I wanted to see the Walt Disney Concert Hall but hated driving around LA. He got us a reservation at the Omni hotel. After yelling and screaming at each other trying to find the hotel, we finally got there. Beautiful lobby. Beautiful room. Beautiful view. And the major plus besides staying near the Walt Disney Concert Hall, we get a free breakfast buffet. If any of you know me, you know I love my breakfast! So we walked around. Took a nap. Then at night we had drinks at the bar sitting next to a fireplace. Muy romantico.

Sunday
BREAKFAST!!! Scrambled eggs and potatoes. Ya baby! After the breakfast we drove up to the Getty and it was so beautiful! So beautiful!!! The artwork was beautiful. The gardens were so beautiful. Take a look for yourself.

So to end things, when we got back to Tommy's apartment, he had flowers waiting for me. Peonies!!! The flowers I had pointed out to him a month ago when we were walking around in WholeFoods. SO SWEET!!! Ok, I'm tired now from the excitement, suspense and romanticness of this weekend.
So thats it you guys. It wasn't so bad, was it? (note: i love this guy!!!I LOVE THIS GUY!!!)

Happy Birthday to me part tres!
Happy Birthday to me part deux
Happy Birthday to me!!
My birthday started out by friends trying to call me early in the morning. I felt great going into work. We just hired a person who will be assisting me in my work so I could devote more time to finishing my practicum hours. My mom is coming in tomorrow. My brother just arrived from the Philippines. I havent seen him for 2 years which is the longest that I havent seen him. I am so happy and excited that he chose to come during my birthday.
Anyways, while i was getting ready for our weekly staff meeting, my boss called me to the lobby, telling me that someone was there to see me. And there he was. They flowers delivery guy! Flowers!!! From Tommy. Even though we were on a thinking break, he still sent me flowers! He is so sweet. Then during staff meeting, our office bought a cake and more flowers for me!!! Yay!
After work, i picked up my brother at the apartment and took him to dinner with some of my friends, then off to game works we go! We stayed there until midnight and i was tired.
Happy birthday to me continues...

Months of mayhem and distruction
Ok...so maybe I was exaggerating. But it sure felt like a horrible couple of months. Here are the series of unfortunate events that I had to endure....
July 3, 2007- After a meeting out in Oceanside, San Deigo, I was going to spend the 4th of July with Tommy, when all of a sudden, a car hit me. Tommy had to come out and pick me up since my car was deemed undrivable. So my baby, along with his friend, Chrissy helped me.
July 10, 2007- With my car in the shop getting fixed, I decided to get a car rental. This i used to get around. Nothing spectacular. Anyways, I convoyed with a friend to a meeting when her car died in the middle of the street. Not only were we late for the meeting but her car stalled in an area that was not safe. I didnt want to leave her. She didnt want to leave her car. So there, we were stuck.
August 2007- Though this was my birthday month, Tommy and I were not ok. We took a thinking break and it was torture. Other bad things happened. More work for me to do. Also I realised that I would not be able to finish my practicum hours until December (Fall) not August (Summer). So that meant i had to pay for another quarter. Sucks to be me! So not only am i paying for car rental ($549) plus my deductible which i was told was going to be given back to me ($500) but I am also paying the Loma Linda fee ($490), all in one month. (Stress level...priceless)
Besides the financial stress, I was having some trouble with some people at the office. To the point that HR was involved. SIGH!!!
Then....a happy birthday to me. But that's another blog! :)
